We believe injury prevention is key, so Hill Country Dental Center provides, at no cost, a custom-fitting sports mouth guard to every Boerne Varsity Football Player. Available by appointment. Hill Country Dental Center is also the emergency services provider to Six Flags Fiesta Texas.

Dr. Waltrip grew up in Lubbock, Texas, and graduated from Texas Tech University in 1994. She earned her dental degree at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center in San Antonio in 1998, and entered the U.S. Navy. After five years of service, she and husband David (a former Marine Corps pilot) wished to settle with their two young children in a small, family-oriented community. The serene setting of Boerne felt like a perfect match. In July 2003, Waltrip became owner of Hill Country Dental Center, a small dental office in a thriving community north of San Antonio. The practice has managed to grow with Boerne, and Waltrip has enjoyed being involved in the community and area schools.

Dr. Malouf joined Hill Country Dental Center in August 2008, bringing a wide spectrum of dental services and expertise into an existing practice and family of patients.Dr. Malouf attended the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston, graduating in 1999. He owned and operated a successful solo private practice in North Houston for nine years, before relocating to the Hill Country where he and his wife, Sara (a dental hygienist), choose to raise their two children.
