Julie Waltrip, D.D.S.
Dr. Julie Waltrip is originally from Lubbock, Texas. She graduated from Texas Tech University in 1994 and continued her dental education at The University Of Texas Health Sciences Center in San Antonio. Dr. Waltrip graduated from dental school in 1998, and went directly in to the United States Navy. In the Navy, LT Waltrip served her nation for five years providing excellent dental care to Sailors and Marines in Pensacola, Florida, Okinawa, Japan and Corpus Christi, Texas. LT Waltrip received the Navy Commendation Medal, awarded for being the top dentist out of her peers of 45 Lieutenants and Lieutenant Commanders, while stationed in Okinawa. Julie is married to David, a former Marine Corps pilot, and they have two children Skyler and Tanner. The Waltrip's greatly enjoyed their time of service in the military, but wanted to settle down in a smaller community to raise their two boys. The beautiful setting of Boerne was the perfect match.
In July of 2003, Dr. Waltrip purchased Hill Country Dental Center. After extensive remodeling and updating of equipment, the practice is now a quaint and comfortable environment to visit. You will have a high-tech dental experience in a relaxing setting at Hill Country Dental Center.
Dr. Waltrip loves Boerne and is very active in the community. She is the Greyhound team dentist, available for any injury that may occur during the year's athletic events. Dr. Waltrip donates custom-fitting mouthguards to all Boerne athletics, and these are available by appointment anytime during the year. Dr. Waltrip is a member of the Boerne Chamber of Commerce, National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), San Antonio District Dental Society (SADDS), Texas Dental Association (TDA), American Dental Association (ADA), and Academy of General Dentistry (AGD).
In July 2003, Dr. Waltrip purchased Hill Country Dental Center. After 6-years at the Bandera Road location, it was time to grow. The office was relocated to the I-10 location and we welcomed Dr. Malouf to our staff. Dr. Waltrip and Dr. Malouf are now partners in Hill Country Dental Center and are committed to providing the best dental care possible.
Dr. Constantine Malouf
Dr. Constantine G. Malouf offers a wide spectrum of dental services and expertise. Dr. Malouf attended Texas Tech University form 1992-1995 and received an early acceptance to continue his education at the UT Dental Branch in Houston, graduating in 1999. He owned and operated a successful solo private practice in North Houston for 9 years, before relocating to the Hill Country.
Dr. Malouf has a lovely wife, Sara, who is also a dental hygienist. We may see her in the office on occasion, but her primary occupation is caring for their two boys, Constantine II and Alexander. The Malouf’s wanted a peaceful, picturesque community to become a part of and to raise their children in.
Drs. Waltrip and Malouf are very active in the community. They take pride in being the Boerne Athletic Department Team Dentists, and are available for any emergencies that occur during athletic events or practices. Thankfully, we have only been called on a few times. Hill Country Dental Center donates a custom-fitting sports mouthguard to all Boerne athletes, they are available by appointment. We have also been selected to provide emergency services to Six Flags Fiesta Texas. The doctors are members of the Boerne Chamber of Commerce, San Antonio District Dental Society, Texas Dental Association, and American Dental Association.
